Banquet Captain

DoubleTree by Hilton Battle Creek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and exceeding expectations at every event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of catered events, including set-up, execution, and tear down.
• Maintain open communication with hosts and guests to ensure their needs are consistently met.
• Lead a team of staff to provide exceptional service and ensure seamless event execution.
• Collaborate with the event coordinator and manager to plan and execute events.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton standards, local health department regulations, and 6PM Hospitality's Core Values.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of banquet experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• CPR training and certification in an Alcohol Awareness Servsafe program.

Working Conditions:

The Banquet Captain will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to stresses and workload fluctuations. The position requires manual skills, physical effort, and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
