Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at East Ohio LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care services to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to inpatients and outpatients, including oxygen therapy, medication administration, and diagnostic testing.
  • Perform arterial blood gas testing and interpret results to inform patient care.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory and electrodiagnostic equipment, including mechanical ventilators and peak flow meters.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program or equivalent education.
  • Current license to practice Respiratory Therapy in the state of Ohio.
  • Ability and willingness to cross-train to the Pulmonary Laboratory/Pulmonary Rehab.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database products.
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting for 3-6 hours per day.
  • Wrist deviation (side to side and up and down) for 3-6 hours per day.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals or infections.
