Position Overview:

We are looking for a Cyber Risk Manager to join our team at TEKsystems. This role is fully remote, with occasional office visits required.

Key Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • Hands-on experience in technical security across various Azure services.
  • Certification as a Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
  • In-depth knowledge of:
    • Azure Cloud and Microsoft 365 security measures, solutions, and future developments.
    • Azure Key Vault, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Active Directory, Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, Azure API Management, and Application Gateway.
  • Additional certifications in other Azure security domains are advantageous.

Role Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Section Chief (Governance, Risk, Compliance & Data Security), the Senior Information Risk Consultant will deliver expertise in information risk management and IT security. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting information security risk assessments for projects, new technologies, and IT changes, while advising on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communicating requirements effectively and training staff to identify and manage risks throughout project lifecycles.
  • Reporting on risk metrics to IT management and governance groups.
  • Ensuring impartiality in IT systems to produce unbiased security risk reports.
  • Conducting quality assurance reviews of security requirements and audit recommendations.
  • Managing external risk assessment providers and liaising with internal project teams.
  • Supporting ISO 27001 certification by promoting compliance with policies and standards.
  • Contributing to the development of enterprise security architecture standards.
  • Collaborating with IT project teams to implement new security-related products and services.
  • Preparing and presenting user support and training materials for secure technology use.

Experience Required:

Candidates should have:

  • Experience in Information Risk Management within regulated industries.
  • Implementation of Vendor Risk Assessment frameworks.
  • Demonstrated IT Security expertise across infrastructure, network, applications, and database technologies.
  • Experience in delivering Enterprise Security Architecture principles and service management concepts.
  • Knowledge of incident response processes and application security improvements.

Skills and Education:

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Advanced degree in Information Security or related fields with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance security demands with business realities.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of technologies and the ability to quickly understand new systems.

Certifications:

Preferred certifications include:

  • CISSP (minimum)
  • GIAC, GSSP-NET, GWAPT, GPEN (preferred)
  • CISM (preferred)
