Key Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapy Student Technician, you will collaborate with licensed Respiratory Care Practitioners to deliver noninvasive respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and monitoring respiratory therapy sessions.
  • Documenting relevant patient information in medical records.
  • Conducting noninvasive diagnostic tests and accurately recording results.
  • Performing routine maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Less than one year of relevant experience.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program with completion of at least two semesters.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required by healthcare policy.
