About This Role

The H&K Group is seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Groundsperson to support plant production and maintenance at our Pikes Creek Quarry and Asphalt facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our plant and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies.
  • Conduct regular plant maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain clean work areas, including catwalks, walk-ways, and general plant area.
  • Proactively learn plant functions and operations to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other site personnel to achieve common goals and objectives.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training may be considered.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to fit test and utilize personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including movement, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
