We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Endocrinology Division at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care and assist in various clinical functions to support our providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
  • Document patient history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Participate in in-office procedures under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider
  • Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing and venipuncture for lab testing
  • Prescribe medication and maintain patient charts
  • Adhere to AMC's regulatory compliance issues and maintain inventory of supplies
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Upon Hire required
Working Conditions:

This role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. You will also be required to lift, carry, and push/pull equipment and supplies. The work environment is fast-paced and requires effective communication and teamwork.
