Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Tampa General Hospital, you will play a vital role in helping patients with various speech, language, swallowing, cognitive, and physical disabilities achieve their highest level of functional independence. Under the general supervision of the Manager and according to established policies and procedures, you will plan and administer treatment and therapy programs. Additionally, you will perform job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and goals
Provide therapy sessions to patients, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate records and reports of patient progress

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
CCC-SLP certification
Licensure by the State of Florida as a Speech-Language Pathologist
1 year of experience required
Weekday availability required
Mandatory to work a minimum of 2, eight-hour weekend days per month
Mandatory to work a holiday rotation
NICU experience required
