Job Overview

At Buchanan Automotive Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as assigned, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs, as authorized by customers.
  • Conduct multi-point inspections to recommend necessary repairs for customer vehicles.
  • Document all work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, with GM experience preferred.
  • Automotive technical training (may vary based on store needs).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
