**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring materials necessary for the manufacture and distribution of healthcare products, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships, negotiating contracts, and participating in evaluating supplier reliability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop sourcing and contract negotiation strategies for the acquisition of goods and services for assigned functional areas, manage relationships, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with internal customers to develop commodity specifications, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid analysis, contracts, and supply agreements.
* Manage supplier relationships, resolve discrepancies, and problems in contract execution.
* Conduct spend analysis and develop sourcing and cost improvement opportunities.
* Negotiate and complete contracts for individual centers.
* Manage special projects as needed.
* May enter purchase orders in SAP and serve as backup to buying staff.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree, MBA/MS degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of related purchasing experience.
* Certifications in CPM, CPSM, etc. strongly preferred.

**Work Environment:**
The work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. The job requires frequent sitting, hand movement, and occasional walking, standing, and lifting. The ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse groups is essential.
