Job Overview

H&R Block is a leading provider of tax services, and we're seeking experienced Tax Professionals to join our team. As a Tax Professional, you'll work with diverse clients, providing expert tax guidance and support.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $62,000 per year, based on location and experience. Our Tax Professionals are responsible for conducting tax interviews, preparing accurate tax returns, and generating business growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and virtual tax interviews with clients
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

Requirements

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone, and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing
• Must complete 10-hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher
