Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team as a full-time employee. As a carpenter with Southern Services, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including reading and interpreting blueprints, assisting supervisors with structural design and installation, and conducting repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures.

Key Responsibilities

• Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction and installation.
• Structural Design and Installation: Assist supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation of various building components.
• Repair and Installation: Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Quality Control: Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Tool Operation: Ability to operate various tools, machines, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Compliance: Compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
