We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Director to join our team at Sage Hospitality Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff and overseeing the procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all food for our hotel.

• Plan and manage the kitchen staff to ensure a safe, sanitary, and cost-effective food production environment.
• Develop and implement menus that meet corporate guidelines and improve revenues and profit margins while maintaining quality.
• Manage food and labor costs within approved budget constraints and develop and implement strategies to minimize liabilities and related expenses.
• Recruit, train, develop, and empower kitchen staff to achieve a culture of excellence in food service.
• Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of kitchen equipment and related areas to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

• More than two years of post-high school education, but less than a degree from a four-year college.
• Five to ten years of experience in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
• Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession, including experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or complex problems and food and beverage management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, moderate hearing, excellent vision, and moderate speech communications skills.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 30-35 pounds, carry objects, kneel, and stand for long periods.
