Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Lifeguard to join our Aquatics team at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (OFJCC). As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our pool users, enforcing pool rules and regulations, and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the pool area and ensure a safe environment for all users
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
  • Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
  • Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons is a plus
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
