Grocery Bagging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to join our team at Metro Market. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
• Assist customers with loading bags into their vehicles
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts
• Clean spills, collect trash, and maintain a safe and clean store environment
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers
• Reinforce safety programs and report any safety risks or issues

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with a diverse team
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain a positive attitude
• Retail experience preferred but not necessary
