Justice Center Liaison

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our Manager of Operations and Community Affairs to build stronger community trust, provide innovative programming ideas, and strengthen partnerships with community-based organizations.

• You will organize and facilitate community-based activities and events, including workshops, tabling, and resource fairs.
• You will cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including City agencies, community-based service providers, and local businesses.
• You will facilitate community conversations, workshops, and programs to gather feedback and share resources.

This role requires strong relationship-building skills, public speaking abilities, and excellent writing skills. You should have experience working in the criminal legal, housing, child welfare, or mental health systems and be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Bilingualism is strongly preferred.

Salary: $52,000 - $62,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Location: Far Rockaway, Queens.
