Certification Requirements- BLS: Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required for specific units.
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is necessary for pediatric units.
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification is essential for neonatal care.
- Chemo Certification: Required for oncology procedures.
- TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course certification is preferred for emergency settings.
- EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification is required for labor and delivery.
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required for various critical care settings.
- Color Blind Exam: Must be completed within one year of employment.
- Tech Certification: National certification is required for respiratory therapists.
- State License Verification: Required within 30 days of employment.
- Assist in a variety of surgical cases, including elective and non-elective procedures.
- Participate in specialized procedures across multiple surgical disciplines.
- Maintain a high level of expertise in cardiac surgery and other specialties.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational protocols.
- Experience: Strong background in cardiac surgery is essential.
- Credentials: CVOR Technologist certification is required.
- On-call Requirements: Availability for cardiac call shifts is necessary.
- Flexibility: Willingness to float within the facility as needed.
- Local Candidates: Candidates residing in the area are encouraged to apply.
This position offers a structured schedule with guaranteed hours, typically consisting of four 10-hour shifts. Weekend availability may be required.
