Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team at the VA's Network Security and Operations Center (NSOC) in Martinsburg, WV. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, providing expertise on technical questions related to development, and creating and managing scripts and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ServiceNow solutions
  • Provide expertise on technical questions related to development
  • Create and manage scripts and workflows
  • Develop technical solutions, implement them, and perform component integration tests
  • Understand business needs and standardize processes
  • Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis
  • Resolve escalated issues with a sense of urgency
  • Identify potential improvements to reduce problems and enhance supportability

Requirements

  • At least three years of ServiceNow platform capabilities
  • Certification in ServiceNow Application Development
  • Experience with Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
  • Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs
  • Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side Javascript and the ServiceNow APIs
  • Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly
  • Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholders
  • Strong experience in C# ASP.NET with .NET Framework 4.0 and above
  • Experience with OO design/development
  • Bachelor's with - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
