Position Summary: The Electronic Systems Design Engineer is responsible for the comprehensive design, development, implementation, testing, and debugging of electronic systems tailored for time-sensitive aerospace applications. This role involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to accurately capture system requirements and devise effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of all electrical and electronic components of the system.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and qualification criteria, while preparing and distributing necessary documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide ongoing product lifecycle support, including testing, deployment, and updates.
  • Work independently and proactively communicate status updates and reports to program management.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, customer presentations, and program milestone meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Systems Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in design engineering, specifically in electronics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Competencies:

  • Thorough understanding of the formal design process for embedded system development, encompassing concept, design, planning, requirements, and report generation.
  • Familiarity with ground-up digital system design and experience with serial and network-based protocols.
  • Proficient in schematic capture, simulation, and PWB layout.
  • Experience in design integration, verification, and validation processes.
