We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a member of our academic department, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care, teach and mentor medical students and residents, and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.

About the Position

This is a full-time academic position that combines teaching, patient care, and research. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to provide comprehensive care to our patients. As an academic physician, you will have the opportunity to participate in educational programs, conduct research, and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the art and science of internal medicine
  • Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies through research and collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in educational programs and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in internal medicine
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a strong background in internal medicine, be eligible for active Louisiana medical licensure, and have a commitment to academic medicine. We are looking for a physician who is passionate about teaching, research, and patient care, and who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of our patients and the community.
