About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Execution: Read and follow recipes to prepare and cook food to the highest standards.
  • Food Preparation: Estimate food requirements and prepare ingredients for cooking.
  • Culinary Operations: Operate a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, season, and knead foodstuffs.
  • Food Safety: Ensure that all food is handled, stored, and cooked safely to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Skills: Ability to prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Food Safety Certification: Current food safety certification or willingness to obtain.
