Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer II to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in radiologic sciences and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of patient care, technical, and diagnostic tasks targeted to the care of patients with cardiovascular disease.
  • Generate high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular related structures.
  • Conduct advanced cardiac ultrasound studies in care of patients with complex conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular imaging and technology.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
