We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results.
- Provide engaging and effective speech-language therapy services, addressing articulation, phonology, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to implement strategies and accommodations in classrooms and school settings.
- Monitor students' progress, maintain accurate documentation, and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
- Offer guidance and training to educators and support staff on implementing communication strategies in the classroom.
- Conduct screenings to identify students who may require speech and language services.
- Maintain up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current New Hampshire state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience as an SLP in a school setting is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders, assessments, and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for making a positive impact on students' lives through effective communication support.
