Job Summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures. Your attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to patient care will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient information and surgical procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Surgical Technology from a NBSTA accredited program or certification from NCCT.
• Four (4) years of experience as a surgical technologist with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Surgical Technologist required within one year of hire, if hired without certification.
