Environmental Engineer Job Description

Arcadis U.S., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer to join our team in Yardley, PA.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct project-related research, including reviewing historical data and applicable regulations.
  • Design remediation systems, including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor intrusion remedial systems.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot remedial systems.
  • Characterize sites, including data compilation and evaluation.
  • Assist with writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, and other written correspondence.
  • Evaluate remedial technologies and prepare feasibility studies.
  • Support remedial cost estimating.
  • Prepare design specifications, drawings, and construction documents.
  • Assist with project permitting activities.
Field Activities:
  • Oversight of contractors, including excavation and construction.
  • Oversight, implementation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of field pilot tests and remedial systems.
  • Conduct field tests, including hydraulic, air flow/vacuum, and geotechnical tests.
  • Soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and air sampling in compliance with State and Federal standards.
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
  • Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or CADD.
  • Independent study or Honors project.
  • EIT certification.

  • Competitive salary range: $55,900 - $83,850.
