Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesiology Physician Lead to join our team at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ. As a key member of our Anesthesia Division, you will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to our anesthesiology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the anesthesiology team, including physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs)
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and other stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- Interface with physicians, staff, and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Assess training needs and provide education to hospital staff on anesthesiology-related topics
- Perform administrative tasks, including finalization of physician call schedules and evaluation of equipment and supplies
Requirements:
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Unrestricted medical license in Arizona or ability to obtain one
- Ability to obtain Arizona DEA license
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in anesthesiology and leadership roles
