Position Overview

We are currently in search of a meticulous Manager of Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and technical accounting issues. This role entails overseeing the creation and dissemination of our consolidated financial statements, ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP, and providing analytical insights to facilitate informed decision-making. You will play a pivotal role in projects aimed at refining our systems and processes, as well as developing and implementing enhanced global accounting policies and procedures. Success in this position requires strong analytical capabilities, keen attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and timely distribution of accurate consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Compile quarterly bank compliance packages, ensuring financial statements align with financial covenants.
  • Prepare annual financial statements, including related footnotes and supporting documentation for external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, primarily U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage the consolidation process, including the recording of consolidating and elimination entries within OneStream.
  • Stay informed on accounting standards and collaborate with the team to implement new standards and draft necessary technical accounting memoranda.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external audit firms to ensure timely completion of audits and related reporting.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting processes to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity.
  • Focus on the continuous enhancement of financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with purchase accounting for acquisitions as needed.
  • Lead or assist with ad-hoc inquiries and projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in public accounting.
  • CPA certification or candidacy is required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process excellence.
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Familiarity with OneStream or similar consolidation tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines effectively.
  • Proactive team player with critical thinking abilities.
