Job Opportunity at The Learning Lamp

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team at The Learning Lamp. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our children, while also providing a nurturing and educational environment that fosters their growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and care for children in a secure and engaging environment
  • Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote learning and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure consistent care and support
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and observations to track child development
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education certification is a plus
  • Previous experience working with children, with a willingness to undergo required clearances and training
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and sit, stand, walk, bend, and stop for long periods of time
  • Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR and first aid certification, with patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
