Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing other nursing tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
