Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Neuroscience team, you will play a critical role in driving demand for our medicines within the Psychiatry therapeutic area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans to promote approved indications of BMS products and drive business results.
  • Engage with and maintain a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas, and effectively communicate scientific and clinical data to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the best customer experience for healthcare professionals and drive adoption of new and existing medicines.
  • Proactively use available tools and data to derive insights and inform call plans, and provide feedback to leadership to enable continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in a healthcare sales or MSL role.
  • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to help physicians best serve their patients.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers and stakeholders, and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience in Neuropsychiatry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong capability in account management skill sets, superior selling competencies, and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
