Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Teacher at our KinderCare Learning Center in Fresno, California. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement our research-backed curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child, promoting their intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
  • Partner with parents to provide a seamless and supportive experience for their children, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Support the success of our center by collaborating with colleagues, contributing to goal achievement, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with families, teachers, and community partners, ensuring a collaborative and supportive network that benefits our children and our center.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain).
  • Physical ability to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
