Medical Retina Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Retina Specialist to join our academic faculty practice at The MetroHealth System. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of ophthalmologists and residents, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field of retina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical retina care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of retinal diseases
  • Participate in resident education and training, supervising and mentoring junior physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical research studies and protocols in the field of retina
  • Collaborate with other departments and specialties to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs

Requirements:

  • Board certification in ophthalmology and completion of a fellowship program in medical retina
  • Strong clinical and teaching skills, with experience in resident education and supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, residents, and colleagues
  • Commitment to academic excellence and a passion for advancing medical knowledge in the field of retina
