Are you passionate about building innovative solutions to complex challenges? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating elegant designs? As a CAD Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in designing and manufacturing our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain physical design verification (PDV) flows and rule decks
  • Collaborate with design and physical design teams to facilitate chip design process
  • Work with tool vendors and foundries to enhance PDK performance
  • Develop and improve various aspects of physical verification flow and methodology
Requirements:
  • Previous industry experience in silicon chip design flows
  • IP/SOC level PDV debug experience in various technology nodes
  • Scripting skills in programming languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell, Makefile or C
  • Experience with flow automation and development
  • Minimum requirement of BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in Calibre/ICV/Pegasus runset coding for DRC/LVS
  • Rule coding in PERC is a plus
  • Knowledge of parasitic extraction, SKILL coding, and PnR tools is a plus
