Medical Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Assure Fertility Partners of Austin LLC. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
About the JobThis role is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding HIPAA standards.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient care, participate in the Third Party Donor program, and circulate in the Operating Room.
- Prepare patients for exams or treatment by taking patient history, vital signs, and performing phlebotomy tasks.
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical records system in a timely manner.
- Organize exam and treatment rooms, restock supplies, clean rooms, and sterilize instruments.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform general administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- One year of experience in Fertility, ObGyn, or Family Medicine is preferred.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records is essential.
- Familiarity with HIPAA requirements is mandatory.
- An estimated salary of $55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
