Job Description

At Monro, Inc., we're seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the efficient diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of our guests' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, including brakes, suspension, tire installation, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Secure guest approval for work to be performed and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Test drive guest vehicles and use our shop truck safely to pick up inventory as needed.
  • Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic set of automotive tools or participation in our tool purchase program.
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 pounds.
  • Guest and team-focused mindset.
  • Automotive Technician State Inspector's license (where applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASE automotive certification in at least one of A1-A8.
  • Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
  • Automotive technical school certificate/degree.
