About the Role:
SAFEbuilt is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our National Plan Review Operations team. As a Plan Review Engineer, you will play a critical role in reviewing and evaluating structural construction documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and guidelines. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality services to our clients and support the growth of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate structural construction documents for compliance with building codes, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to clients on design and construction deficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure project completion.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of local building codes, standards, and guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) by a State Board of Registration.
- 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the construction industry.
- Experience performing Commercial Building Plan Review is preferred.
