As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and supervision of project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of designs.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Set and manage project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Design Development: Develop detailed designs for urban and rural roadway/highway projects, analyzing material tests, drainage, sewer, storm water management, pavement markings, signage, signals, and MPT.
- Budget Management: Maintain project budgets and ensure projects stay within budget guidelines.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance to clients and team members on design and repair matters.
- Client Communication: Participate in client meetings, including proposal, progress, and completion meetings.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in general civil engineering, with a focus on highway/roadway design and storm water management/watershed analysis.
- Experience: Proven experience working with New York (city and state) agencies, such as NYSDOT, NYCDOT, and NYCDDC.
- Certifications: NY or NJ Professional Engineer (P.E) certification.
- Skills: Strong understanding of business and management principles, design techniques, and government regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD with Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads, and Microsoft Office.
Gedeon GRC Consulting offers a competitive salary range of $120,000-$165,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 90% company contribution towards health insurance plans, 401K match, PTO, bonus potential, and 10 paid company holidays.
