Job Overview and Responsibilities:
- The Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing physical therapy programs for both inpatients and outpatients at Cambay Healthcare LLC, aimed at promoting recovery for individuals with physical or mental disabilities.
- This role involves providing direct patient-centered care, which includes conducting thorough physical therapy assessments and delivering effective treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- All specialists must demonstrate proficiency in treating adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Additional training and competencies are required for those working with pediatric patients under the age of 13.
- The Rehabilitation Specialist will also collaborate with the department director to oversee support staff, engage in quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to the overall functioning of the rehabilitation unit.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- A valid Physical Therapist license for the state is required.
