Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and counsel members on healthcare and prescription medication needs.
  • Drive Sales and Profit: Ensure effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting sales, and developing cross-functional relationships.
  • Model Excellent Member Service: Provide direction and guidance to associates on proper member service approaches and techniques to ensure member needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Oversee Community Outreach: Implement and participate in community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community.
  • Ensure Compliance: Analyze and interpret reports, implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls, oversee safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews, and provide direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and Lead Associates: Select, train, mentor, assign duties, provide performance feedback, provide recognition, and ensure diversity awareness.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • License: Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Training: Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
