Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to determine discrepant rooms and prioritize room cleaning.
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinate efforts with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk and prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff.
  • Record, monitor, and update list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms and ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.
  • Complete required Housekeeping paperwork and follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
