About the Role:

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a highly skilled Ventilation Specialist to join our team as a Respiratory Care Professional. In this critical role, you will provide top-notch respiratory care to patients in need of ventilator support, ensuring their optimal health and well-being.

Job Summary:

  • This position requires the ability to travel throughout our service area, providing clinical assessments and care to patients in their homes or alternate settings.
  • You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless transitions between healthcare providers and optimize patient outcomes.
  • We are looking for an experienced RT with a strong background in ventilation, airway clearance, and oxygen therapy administration and management.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain accurate documentation are essential skills for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise in evaluating vent patients' records, conducting clinical assessments, and making decisions based on compliance data and assessment.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by AdaptHealth.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, referral sources, and patients to ensure prompt attention to care issues.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient files, documenting all interactions and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively to resolve issues and assure optimal outcomes for patients, staff, and referral sources.
  • Participate in education and training activities to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by AdaptHealth
  • CPR certification
  • One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license

Compensation and Benefits:

  • We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
