This role involves working at heights to maintain the health and appearance of trees using specialized equipment and techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in basic tree care principles, cabling, pruning techniques, tree ID, and disease ID, with at least one year of professional tree climbing experience.

• Work safely at heights over 15 feet, performing tasks on branches and truck platforms.
• Lift, push, and pull loads weighing 25-50 pounds frequently, as well as bend, reach, stoop, crouch, walk, and work outside in all weather conditions.

A commitment to safety is essential, with regular training provided on aerial rescue, proper PPE use, hazard recognition, Dig Alert procedures, and emergency tree rescue techniques.

Successful candidates must demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality.

• Trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to maintain health and appearance.
• Using chainsaws, hooks, handsaws, shears, and clippers to cut away dead and excess branches.
• Transplanting and removing trees and shrubs.
• Splitting logs and operating chipping equipment.
• Inspecting trees for disease or pest problems.

Salary Information: The salary range for this role is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
