We are seeking a highly skilled Activity Therapist to join our team at Coachella Valley Behavioral Health. As an Activity Therapist, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing activities that promote patient progress and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, skills, and interests to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Plan, organize, and direct activities that promote patient engagement and progress towards treatment goals.
  • Facilitate group and individual activities that promote social skills, emotional well-being, and physical health.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement leisure education programs that promote patient independence and self-esteem.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreational Therapy, or related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in recreation in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC).
