Job Summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery to produce high-quality power transmission products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform work order activities according to production process procedures.
  • Conduct daily equipment maintenance inspections, including lubrication, fluid checks, and chip handling.
  • Load programs and verify procedures through DNC, USB, and other interfaces.
  • Set up, run, and teardown CNC and ancillary equipment to assigned specifications.
  • Perform CNC cycle starts and stops accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct single-step procedures through CNC programs.
  • Change tools at predetermined intervals accurately and efficiently.
  • Load materials onto equipment, including CNCs, VMCs, bar feeders, and ancillary equipment.
  • Conduct efficient teardown of previous setups through selective removal of unnecessary items.
  • Perform edge-breaking and deburring operations as required.
  • Accurately locate and verify proper tools and tool inserts for operation of prescribed CNC programs.
  • Read and interpret production prints, perform quality checks on product, and gather and measure parts as produced by CNC operations.
  • Report operational malfunctions, including equipment failures, damage, and scrap.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical/Mechanical coursework in CNC machining, including setup.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing-related experience.
  • Skills in operating CNC machinery.
  • Able to read blueprints and use measuring devices, such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good mathematical skills, able to reason and calculate distances and equations.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Maintain diplomacy and tact in dealing with others.
  • Able to follow production process and quality procedures.
