Virtual Special Education Teacher Opportunity in Nebraska

We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionAs a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will guide students with special needs toward their full potential from the comfort of your home. You will create transformative virtual learning experiences using innovative technology.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to create effective strategies and accommodations based on these programs.
You will work collaboratively with students, parents, and team members to ensure that each student receives a personalized education.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Valid Nebraska Teaching Certification in Special Education; applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain a certification with an endorsement in Special Education.
- Experience in virtual instruction; proven experience delivering virtual instruction to students with special needs is essential.
- Excellent communication skills; strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
- Technological proficiency; must be tech-savvy and proficient in utilizing virtual teaching platforms, educational software, and assistive technologies.
- Inclusive and empathetic; passionate about fostering inclusivity, empathy, and respect within the virtual learning environment.
- Adaptability and patience; ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
