Counselor Job Opportunity

Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a qualified Counselor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Counselor will provide counseling services to individuals with substance use disorders, including group programming, individual counseling, case management, and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling services to promote recovery and personal growth
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet individual needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
  • State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in Virginia or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
