Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of speech therapy services into the educational environment.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.
Requirements:
  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
