Head Swim Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Swim Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our swim team, developing and implementing aquatic programs, and providing exceptional customer service to our members.

• Lead and manage the swim team, including coaching, mentoring, and evaluating team members
• Develop and implement aquatic programs, including swim lessons, water aerobics, and other aquatic activities
• Provide exceptional customer service to members, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting our programs and services
• Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, membership, and program development, to promote our programs and services
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure our programs and services are innovative and effective

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a swim coach or in a related field
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification with CPR/AED/First Aid
• Child Protection Training, including Mandated Reporter
• Principles of YMCA Swimming and Diving
• YMCA V6 Swim Lessons
• Certified Lifeguard Instructor
• Ability to learn new software systems quickly, excellent computer skills
• Detail oriented
• Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally
