Affordable Housing Community Director Leadership Opportunity

At FPI Management, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one of our properties, ensuring seamless execution of all aspects of property operations.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, upholding their expectations and philosophies in daily operations.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests, representing FPI Management, Inc. professionally at all times.
- Employee Management: Develop and manage the site team, participating in hiring, training, and evaluation processes.
- Leasing/Occupancy: Oversee occupancy levels, exhibiting professional leasing techniques, and analyzing market trends to optimize leasing performance.
- Revenue Management: Maximize revenue potential through lease expirations, timely turnover, rent collections, and accurate accounting practices.
- Reporting and Document Management: Maintain resident files, reporting systems, and confidential documents, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Risk Management items, timely reporting of incidents, and adherence to OSHA requirements.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with maintenance needs, document concerns, and follow up on requests to promote resident satisfaction.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD, USDA-Rural Development, HCD, HOME Funds, and Bonds.
- Affordable Housing Accreditation or equivalent designations in affordable programs.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in residential property management.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate; college degree preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and operable vehicle meeting FPI's Driving Standards.
- Proficiency in English language (speaking, reading, writing).
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management software, email, internet).
