Alameda Health System is seeking a skilled Pediatrician to join our team at Hayward Wellness Center. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the administrative direction of our medical specialty service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide compassionate, culturally competent, and patient-centered care to pediatric patients.
- Supervise Mid-level Practitioners/Certified Nurse Midwives in assigned clinical areas.
- Practice evidence-based medicine and stay up-to-date with current standards of care.
- Manage patient flow effectively and provide cost-effective care.
- Stay current with patient care responsibilities, including lab results, medication refills, and radiology reports.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to improve quality of care and service delivery.
- Teach patients, families, and staff, and provide counseling services related to promoting good health practices.
- Completion of an approved residency in pediatrics.
- Current valid license to practice medicine in California.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in pediatrics.
- CPI-Crisis Prevention Intervention Training.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
