Job Description

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our industrial electrical team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building.

The primary duties of a Maintenance Electrician include:

  • Reading and interpreting electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Installing, examining, replacing, or repairing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and/or other electrical components.
  • Testing electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Maintaining, repairing, installing, and testing switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Maintaining, repairing, testing, and installing electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.

Work Schedule: 2nd shift - 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday
